Our SBX race boards are custom built to the individual with the highest quality materials available. Inspired, designed, and driven by our Canadian National team members and coaches with proven podium performance. These boards employ a full carbon laminate construction, full width rubber damping, and Titanal plates strategically shaped for excellent edge hold and feel. They are fast, responsive, and grounded.
All our cores are vertically laminated, knot free, AAA Grade Poplar.
This creates a well balanced core that translates vibration evenly
throughout each piece. While offering a very smooth ride, Poplar offers
the responsiveness required in a high performance, premium snowboard.
Carbon Fibre is standard in all our race boards, and hits like a raging bull. It reacts very quickly to rider input, and returns every bit of energy to your feet. It is aggressive by design, and benefits from a more surgical
approach to your riding.
We utilize a Titanal race plate to give each race board strength and stability where you need it most. A center cutout allows for a torsionally stable build, while increasing damping and edge hold across the entire contact.
We use Entropy Super Sap epoxy systems. Through chemistry; biobased and
rapidly renewable raw materials; and efficient manufacturing: Super Sap
is a green alternative to more harmful epoxy products. Good for the
planet, good for premium snow products.
Our cores are fully protected by a poured urethane channel. This
eliminates the need for seams in the sidewall, and provides a damp feel
that increases edge hold dramatically.
We utilize unidirectional carbon fibre laminates to strategically
localize reinforcement in each core. This provides that added pop and snappiness where you need it most.
